Veterans Program Services
Superior Senior Care is approved by the Veteran’s Administration to provide referrals for veterans that need and qualify for in-home care assistance. We will work with VA Case Managers to assist Veteran’s in determining their eligibility.
Veteran’s Personal Care
Personal Care services referred by Superior Senior Care to veteran’s are based on the physical needs assessed by their VA Physician. These are commonly called ADL’s or Activities of Daily Living. The VA Care Plan will include assistance with bathing and personal hygiene, and may include dressing, ambulation, transfers and nutrition such as feeding and eating. Assistance is provided by a personal care aide in accordance with the VA Care Plan specifying the number of hours and days per week.
Veteran’s Respite
Respite service is also based on the physical needs assessed by the Veteran’s VA Physician which must include a diagnosis that requires an attendant when a spouse or primary caregiver cannot be there to help. An attendant will provide services according to the VA Care plan which will specify the number of hours per visit and the allowable number of visits per year.
